RTB rotary stand - configurable hydraulic hose storage system

RTB-11 rotary stand in a hydraulic workshopAI

The RTB rotary stand is a ready-made hydraulic hose station for your workshop. A hydraulic hose stand in versions from RTB-6 to RTB-11, with individually rotating arms, bins for hose coils and a zinc-plated steel base.

Five rotating levels open individually by 30° - the operator pulls the bin towards themselves instead of bending down to a hose coil on the floor. The bottom bin, permanently fitted in the base frame, handles the thickest hoses, while the five levels above can be filled freely - one large bin for 1 hose position, two small bins or two discs for 2 positions. This gives 243 possible configurations from 6 to 11 hose positions on one station.

Key elements

Six features that give the RTB an advantage over static hydraulic hose shelves.

6 rotating arms

Five manually opened arms + a bottom bin permanently fitted in the base frame.

Zinc-plated steel

Full construction of galvanised steel - corrosion-resistant in the workshop and warehouse.

3 level set-ups

One large Ø900 mm bin for 1 hose, two small Ø400 mm bins or two Ø480 mm discs for 2 hoses - you choose at each level.

Dimensions 1160 × 1020 × 2300 mm

Compact base, height suited to a standard workshop hall.

Configuration per level

You choose the set-up (large bin / small bins / discs) independently for each of the 5 rotating levels. After delivery you can swap the arms around - you adjust the working height to the most frequently used hose coil.

Safe 30° opening

Natural angle stop - the hose does not fall out at maximum opening and the bin does not hit the adjacent level.

Who the RTB stand is for

Hydraulic workshops and agricultural machinery service centres - the RTB stand keeps hydraulic hose coils in one place and shortens the time needed to select and cut a length. Hydraulic hose distributors use the RTB as a sales and demonstration station: the customer sees the coils, diameters and lengths within easy reach.

Mobile crews and field service teams use the stand in loading halls - rotating bins allow the required length to be uncoiled quickly without tangling. Maintenance departments in heavy production place the RTB by the line - ready hose positions shorten downtime during emergency flexible hose replacement.

A complete hose cutting station - whatever the scenario, the RTB is part of a wider working line: you select the coil from the RTB, measure the exact length with the RMC counter (class ± 0.5%) and cut the length with a hose cutting machine. RTB + RMC forms a made-to-order cutting station with repeatable length on every piece.

Construction and materials

Leg-to-base weld and rotating arm mechanism of the RTB standAI

The stand is built entirely of hot-dip galvanised structural steel - its corrosion resistance meets the requirements of a workshop environment where hydraulic oil drips and moisture appears. The base frame is a welded structure made of box sections; the five rotating arms are mounted on pins with steel bushes, which eliminates play even after years of daily use.

The bottom bin is permanently fitted to the frame (removable for transport) - it takes the thickest and heaviest hoses, which are not worth lifting off frequently anyway. The large bin is designed for a hose coil with a diameter of up to Ø900 mm, the small bin - up to Ø400 mm. Instead of a pair of small bins you can choose two discs (Ø480 mm, with a central spindle and three pegs) - they take the same space on the arm and give 2 hose positions. Maximum load capacity of a single arm: ~50 kg of hose coil, which corresponds to a 1SN DN20 hose coil 50 m long with a margin.

Models RTB-6 to RTB-11

The number in the model name = the number of hose positions. RTB-6 is the basic version: 6 large bins, one at each level - the simplest set-up for larger-diameter hoses. RTB-11 is the maximum variant: a large bottom bin (larger DN) + five levels with a pair of small bins, 11 positions in total.

Between them are RTB-7, RTB-8, RTB-9 and RTB-10 - in each case you get a different mix of large bins, small bins and discs. Instead of a pair of small bins on any level you can choose two discs - the model number still means the number of hose positions, and the number of discs follows after a hyphen: RTB-9-4 is 9 hose positions with four discs (two levels of two discs each). You choose the bin type for each of the 5 rotating levels at purchase - we deliver the stand with bins matched to your range of hoses. After delivery you can swap the arms around (e.g. move the most frequently used coil to the most convenient working height); the type of the bins (or discs) themselves can be changed by buying the missing units as an accessory.

Why RTB - the advantage over static shelves

Comparison of a traditional shelf with tangled hoses and an RTB stand with an open armAI

Most competing hydraulic hose stands are static shelves - the hose lies on a tube and has to be uncoiled by hand above the floor at every draw-off. The RTB rotates the whole level by 30° - the bin comes out to the operator and the hose unwinds freely, without tangling or scratching the cover.

The second argument: modularity. You decide between a large bin, small bins and discs per level, not for the whole stand - this saves investment cost, because you fill it precisely with the types of hose that you actually sell or service.

The third: cost durability. Hot-dip galvanised steel + a welded frame made of box sections give a realistic service life of 10-15 years in a hydraulic workshop. Imported rack shelves (bent, powder-coated) rust at the first oil leak and need replacing after 2-3 years.

Assembly, transport and safety

The stand is delivered on a standard EUR pallet; on-site assembly takes two people 30-45 minutes - M10/M12 bolts and a socket spanner. The bottom bin is removed for transport, so the pallet fits in a typical delivery van.

The whole structure is stable without anchoring to the floor thanks to the wide base (1160 × 1020 mm) - for halls with a hard floor we recommend anti-slip feet (optional). The rotating arms have a natural angle stop (30°) - the hose does not fall out at maximum opening and the bin does not hit the adjacent level.

Najczęstsze pytania

Each of the 5 levels rotates individually by 30° - the hose unwinds freely, without tangling and without being dragged across the floor. A classic shelf does not offer this. The bottom, heaviest level is fixed, which increases the stability of the structure.

From 6 (RTB-6) to 11 (RTB-11), depending on the level configuration. Each rotating level takes one large bin for 1 hose, two small bins or two discs for 2 hoses - 243 possible combinations in total.

A disc is an alternative to a pair of small bins on the same arm: two Ø480 mm discs (with a central spindle and three pegs) take the place of two small bins and give 2 hose positions. You choose them in the configurator next to the large bin and the small bins, and in the set name the number of discs appears after a hyphen (e.g. RTB-9-4). If you are not sure which option suits your hose coils better, write to us.

The base version of the RTB stands on four wide feet - without castors, to avoid the risk of shifting when the hose is pulled hard. For warehouses that need to move it, we recommend transport pallets with lifts; optionally we supply a set of M16 castors with a brake.

The arm carries up to ~50 kg of hose coil - which corresponds to e.g. 50 m of 1SN DN20 hose with a safety margin. The bottom bin fitted in the frame carries heavier hose coils (up to 80 kg).

Yes - the large Ø900 mm bin will hold a DN25 (1") hose coil 40 m long, or even DN32 (1¼") 25 m long. For the largest diameters it is best to fill the lowest (fixed) level with a large bin - the weight of the hose coil goes onto the frame, not onto the arm.

You choose the bin configuration at purchase - we deliver the stand with bins matched to your range of hoses. After delivery you can swap the arms around (e.g. move the most frequently used bin to the most convenient height). Changing the set-up TYPE (e.g. from a large bin to two small bins or to two discs, or vice versa) requires buying the appropriate bins or discs as an accessory - the stand itself remains the same.

The stand is shipped on an EUR pallet by pallet courier (1-3 working days in PL). On-site assembly: two people, 30-45 minutes, M10/M12 bolts. PDF instructions - included. We can arrange assembly by our service partner (optional, quoted once the location is given).

Yes - optional anti-slip feet (for halls with a hard floor), a set of M16 castors with a brake (for warehouses that need to move it) and additional bins or discs, if you want to change the configuration in the future. Base RAL colour to order for a batch of ≥ 5 pcs.
