- An unused port in a manifold or block has to be plugged
- A nut for a tube fitting or a lock nut is missing

Machine lubrication
- The spot where you press the grease gun coupler
- A thin lubrication tube clamped with a ring
- An end for a lubrication line fitted with a spanner, without a crimping machine
- The grease fitting thread does not match the socket
- Grease should flow in one direction only and not flow back
- A thin high-pressure line from the grease pump to the lubrication point
Brakes in vehicles and machines
- The flexible section of a brake line between the body and the wheel
- An end of a brake line that screws into a caliper or a distributor
- An end with an eye, fitted with a bolt with a hole on the brake caliper
- A bolt with a through hole that secures the eye and lets the fluid pass

Workshop equipment
- A coil of hose on a reel has to be unwound evenly and without tangling
- Several hose reels have to stand in one place, within reach of the crimping machine
- You want to measure exactly how many metres of hose you cut off or how much is left on the reel
- Small fittings, ferrules and adapters need a place where they are easy to find
Power hydraulics - hydraulic hoses, couplings and fittings - you will find it all at RATEBO
RATEBO is a supplier of power hydraulics components for industry, machinery service shops and OEM manufacturers. In one place you will find hydraulic hoses, couplings, end fittings and accessories from proven manufacturers - with complete technical data and the support of a team that knows hydraulics, not just catalogue numbers.
What is power hydraulics?
Power hydraulics is a field of engineering in which energy is transmitted by a working fluid - most often hydraulic oil - under high pressure. A typical hydraulic system consists of a pump, control valves, hydraulic cylinders or motors, and lines: hydraulic hoses, pipes, couplings and end fittings. Because the fluid is practically incompressible, even a compact system can deliver very large forces and torques with precise motion control.
Advantages of power hydraulics
The greatest advantage of power hydraulics is its favourable ratio of power to weight and size. Hydraulic systems are resistant to overload, allow smooth adjustment of speed and force, and work reliably in harsh conditions - dust, vibration and large temperature swings. It should be remembered, however, that the whole system is only as reliable as its weakest element: the pump, the valve, the hydraulic hose, the coupling or the seal.
Where is power hydraulics used?
Power hydraulics works wherever great force is needed in a limited installation space. It is found in construction and road machinery - excavators, loaders, cranes - in agricultural and forestry machines, municipal and special-purpose vehicles, and in forklifts and internal transport. In industry it drives presses, injection moulding machines, machine tools, production lines and metallurgical equipment. It is also present in power generation, mining, shipbuilding, aviation and railway control systems. In each of these sectors hydraulic hoses and couplings are at work that require regular inspection and replacement - and this is exactly where the role of a components supplier begins.
Selecting hydraulic components - why it matters
Each of these applications places different demands on components: working pressure and pressure peaks, temperature range, abrasion resistance, compatibility with the working medium, or the minimum bending radius of the hose. That is why the right selection of hydraulic hoses, couplings and end fittings has a direct impact on the safety, durability and operating costs of a machine. At RATEBO we help match components to a specific system and working conditions - you will find a range from proven manufacturers, complete technical data and the support of a team that knows the product, not just its number.
Hydraulic hoses, couplings and end fittings - the RATEBO offer
The RATEBO catalogue covers components for building and servicing hydraulic and industrial lines. Each item is described with the parameters that decide the selection: DN, thread, working pressure, temperature range and bending radius.
Hydraulic and industrial hoses
Braided and spiral hydraulic hoses, high-pressure, TWIN, thermoplastic, pressure washer and pneumatic hoses. They are complemented by industrial hoses: for fuels and oils, PTFE (Teflon), multi-purpose, for cooling and sandblasting, as well as protective guards and sleeves that extend the life of the lines.
Crimp fittings and hose end fittings
Crimp ferrules, end fittings with female and male threads, flange fittings (SAE flanges), banjo (eye) fittings and hose connectors - everything you need to crimp hydraulic lines to length.
Hydraulic nipples and fittings
A full range of nipples: straight fittings, 45° and 90° elbows, ED fittings, tees, crosses, bulkhead couplings, couplers, threaded plugs, nuts and banjo fittings.
Special systems and service equipment
Centralised lubrication elements, components for flexible brake lines, measuring technology (measuring lines, fittings and ferrules) and service shop equipment: hose reels and racks, hose length meters and storage racks with trays.
Why buy hydraulic components at RATEBO?
In power hydraulics it is not only the price that matters, but above all the certainty that the hose will withstand the pressure and the coupling will not start leaking after the first season. That is why at RATEBO we combine more than 30 years of industry experience with a range from proven manufacturers - Polyhose, Semperit, M-FLEX, Vitillo, SEL and MultiPRESS. The B2B platform shows prices and availability directly from the ERP system, lets you send quotation requests online quickly, and the QuickBuy tool shortens the ordering of repeat items to a few clicks. If you are not sure which variant to choose, our expert will help you select the DN, thread and pressure, point out a replacement and place the order with you - by phone or chat, Monday to Friday, 8:00-16:00.
Who do we work for?
Our customers are service shops for construction and agricultural machinery, production plants maintaining process lines, machine manufacturers (OEM) looking for a stable components supplier, companies that crimp hydraulic lines to length, as well as wholesalers and technical shops. Regardless of scale - from a single fitting to regular contract deliveries - you get the same standard of service and the same product knowledge.
Frequently asked questions about power hydraulics
How do I select a hydraulic hose?
Start with four parameters: the working pressure of the system (with a margin for peaks), the nominal diameter DN, the type of medium and the working temperature range. Then check the minimum bending radius and the required type of end fittings. If in doubt, contact us - we will select a hose based on the machine data or the markings on the old line.
What is the difference between a 2SN and a 4SP hose?
A 2SN hose (EN 853) has two steel wire braids and is the standard in medium- and high-pressure systems of mobile machinery. A 4SP hose (EN 856) has four spiral layers, withstands higher pressures and copes better with pulsation, which is why it is used in excavators and presses, among others.
How often should hydraulic hoses be replaced?
It depends on the working conditions, but manufacturers recommend an inspection at least once a year and replacement when there are visible cracks, blisters, abrasion exposing the braid, leaks at the end fittings, or after the service life specified by the machine manufacturer has elapsed.
