RHR uncoiler / recoiler - controlled uncoiling of hydraulic hoses

RHR-plus uncoiler / recoiler with a 230 V motor in a hydraulic workshopAI

The RHR is a rotary uncoiler stand designed for precise uncoiling of coiled hydraulic and industrial hoses. The Ø1000 mm turntable rotates freely under the weight of the hose being pulled, while an adjustable brake maintains a constant uncoiling speed - no tangling, no hose "springing" off the coil.

Available in two versions: RHR-basic with a slip retarder - a mechanical brake adjusted with a knob - and RHR-plus - an uncoiler / recoiler with a 230 V electric drive for automatic, controlled uncoiling.

What gives the RHR its edge

Five features that make the difference between uncoiling a hose coil by hand and feeding the hose in a controlled way from a rotary platform.

Two versions: basic / plus 230 V

Basic - slip brake adjusted with a knob. Plus - 230 V electric motor for automatic uncoiling to the crimping machine table.

Ø1000 mm platform

The rotary turntable holds a factory coil of hydraulic hose up to 1 m in diameter - without removing it from the transport pallet.

Adjustable height 800-1000 mm

Telescopic legs set the working height to suit the operator - the hose comes off at the level of the crimping machine worktop.

Stable tripod base

Wide base with a low centre of gravity - work without the risk of tipping over, even when the hose is pulled hard.

Operator safety

Controlled uncoiling speed eliminates the hose springing off and the risk of shoulder injury. The brake works even without power - even in the plus version when the motor is switched off.

Who the RHR uncoiler / recoiler is for

Made-to-order hydraulic hose cutting workshops - the RHR stands next to the crimping machine; the hose runs off the platform through the RMC counter straight onto the crimping machine worktop, without having to unroll the whole hose coil across the floor. Distributors use the plus version for an impressive customer demonstration: the motor feeds the hose to a set length, the RMC shows the number of metres, and the customer measures and decides.

Construction and materials

Weld of the leg to the base and the galvanised steel construction of the RHR uncoilerAI

The entire construction is made of hot-dip galvanised steel - resistant to hydraulic oil, moisture and temperature changes in the workshop hall or on the loading yard. The Ø1000 mm turntable is mounted on an industrial-grade rolling bearing - smooth rotation even at maximum platform load (up to 200 kg).

In the RHR-basic version the brake is a sliding clamp with a PTFE lining - the M16 knob adjusts the clamping force, and therefore the rotation speed. In the RHR-plus version a 230 V electric motor (IP54 class) drives the turntable through a worm gear - foot pedal control, speed adjustable in the range 0-15 rpm. Stability is provided by the tripod base with adjustable feet; the working height of 800-1000 mm is set telescopically without tools.

Basic or plus - which version to choose

RHR-basic is suited to occasional use - a dozen or so hose draw-offs per day, short lengths, one operator. The mechanical brake needs no power supply, always works and is practically failure-free.

RHR-plus makes sense for daily, intensive use - from several dozen draw-offs upwards, long lengths (from 5 m), changing operators. The motor takes over the physical effort, eliminating fatigue and the risk of shoulder injury with heavy coils (DN25+). Over an 8-hour shift the plus version saves approx. 30-45 minutes of operator time at each workstation - that is one more service job per day.

You do not choose a version once for life - you can start with basic and after a year or two move to plus by replacing the brake → motor module. The construction of the base and platform is identical in both versions, so the decision is not irreversible.

Why the RHR - vs a hose coil on a pallet and vs a static shelf

Comparison of uncoiling a hose with the RHR and from a pallet without a standAI

The standard workshop practice is a hose coil lying on a pallet - the operator turns the coil by hand and pulls the hose across the floor, usually with the help of a second person. Lost time and risk of injury grow with the hose diameter and the weight of the coil. The RHR solves this with a rotary platform at waist level - the coil rotates by itself and the hose comes off in a straight line at operator height.

The second common option is a wall shelf with hose coils hung on pegs. Here the hose drops down under its own weight, tangling and dragging along the floor. The RHR keeps the hose at working level and controls the uncoiling speed - no more tangling and scratching of the cover.

The third argument: cutting repeatability. A constant uncoiling speed (mechanical or motor-driven) means that a 12.5 m length measured once will come out the same the second time. Less waste, fewer length complaints.

Najczęstsze pytania

The RTB is a storage and display stand - it holds up to 11 hose coils at the same time on 6 levels, each rotated by hand. The RHR is a working stand for ONE hose coil - the Ø1000 mm turntable rotates under the weight of the hose being pulled, and the brake (basic) or motor (plus) controls the uncoiling speed. Most often a workshop uses the RTB for storage and the RHR at the workstation at the same time.

Three things. First - the hose is fed automatically to a set length with the foot pedal, without pulling by hand. Second - the constant, adjustable speed (0-15 rpm) gives repeatable length measurements. Third - it eliminates physical effort with heavy coils (DN25+), which translates into approx. 30-45 min saved per 8-hour shift and reduces the risk of shoulder injury to the operator.

The Ø1000 mm platform holds a factory hose coil with an outside diameter of up to 1 m and a height of up to 300 mm. This covers standard hose coils: 1SN/2SN DN10 (50-100 m), DN16 (50 m), DN20 (50 m), DN25 (40 m), DN32 (25 m). Heavier DN40+ coils require prior consultation regarding the load capacity of the platform.

We estimate 200 kg with a safety margin of 1.5×. This covers the heaviest standard industrial hose coils (DN32 × 25 m ≈ 90 kg + oversize).

Yes - the tripod base has a leg spread of 800 mm and a low centre of gravity; for halls with a hard floor we supply optional anti-slip feet. For long, heavy coils we recommend placing the stand against a wall or in the corner of the workstation - this gives additional support.

Factory-assembled stand (Ø1000 mm turntable + tripod base + telescopic legs); the plus version additionally includes a 230 V motor with a foot pedal and a 3-metre power cable. The set includes: PDF manual, socket spanner for adjusting the leg height, M10 screws for mounting the optional anti-slip feet.

24-month warranty - full on the construction, base and brake; in the plus version an additional 12 months on the 230 V motor. Door-to-door service in Poland during the warranty period - replacement of a defective part or unit at our cost.
