Construction

Marking

The hose is marked along its entire length with continuously inkjet-printed lettering (black or white letters): "SEMPERIT (S) COLORFLEX PN 20 BAR DN +100°C (conditionally +120°C) MADE IN EU", where "DN" stands for the inside diameter of the size.

Applications

Very flexible multipurpose hose for conveying compressed air, water and many chemicals in industry and agriculture. The cover colour makes it easier to identify the medium or installation during work (the COLORFLEX series is also available in other colours). It withstands ageing, ozone, weathering and abrasion well, and the textile reinforcement protects against kinking.

Notes

The hose must not be used in permanently closed, pressurised systems at temperatures above +100°C, and the temperature of the medium must be lower than its boiling point. As the temperature changes, the burst pressure, the safe working pressure and the holding force of the fittings decrease. If in doubt about the medium (chemicals), check the Semperit chemical resistance table or ask us. The hose can be secured with hose clamps or crimped with ferrules; we sell it in any length.
